Day 1: Meeting the other interns and exploring the RIT campus
The first part of my day was in processing where I got my RIT ID and a parking permit. After we got the in processing out of the way Joe sent all of the interns on a fairly rigorous scavenger hunt. In hopes of earning a t-shirt the other interns and I traveled all across campus taking videos at various land marks. Midway through the day when it became apparent we had little chance of doing well on the scavenger hunt we sought out ways to get extra points. When Joe offered 500 points to meet with the president we managed to schedule a meeting and end the day successfully. Although we failed to get the t-shirt I had a great time meeting the other interns and the president of RIT. I am looking forward to the rest of the internship.
